Do you ever play the emotions game? The one where you make an exaggerated face and the other person has to guess which emotion you’re expressing?
The game is super simple, you can do it anywhere, you don’t need any materials other than your faces, and it helps spark conversations about emotions with your children. We invite you to give it a try using some of these emotions to start:
Take turns with your child, one person makes the face and the other guesses, and vice versa! For your older child who might like to practice reading, write a few emotions on notecards. Pick a card, any card, and play the game together!
